Preparing for Sudden Death
If you are given days, weeks or months notice of your
impending death, you have time to prepare and go through the classic grief cycle.
If death comes without warning, however, you don't have that time so, ideally, you are always prepared. Here's
how:
• Make sure you forgive anyone who harms you as soon as possible after the event. This doesn’t mean letting the
offense slide or allowing other people to walk all over you, but rather not taking the offence so personally or
carrying around emotional baggage, for this saps your psyche and gives your power away to the offender.
• Make sure you never say or do any harm to others, and if by accident you do, then apologize for it ASAP.
• Make your life an ongoing life review. At the end of the day, review every event and interaction, asking your
spirit guides to show you anything of significance.
• Live in constant gratitude for the abundance in your life, for we are all blessed more than we know, especially
when we have people in our lives who love us.
• Imagine a moment when you realize your life is going to end, then and there. In that moment, do you have any
regrets? If so, something needs your attention.
